Synthetic studies on natural pyranonaphthoquinones via diels-alder approach

- Abstract:Methylteretifolione B (1) and 2 were isolated from Conospermum plants grown in Australia. Until now, total syntheses of (±)-1 and 2 were reported. We herein reported our synthetic studies of these naphthoquinones via Diels-Alder approach using benzynes and furans.
Chromene 3 was constructed via the Claisen rearrangement of 4. Diels-Alder reaction.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
