Our Mission

We provide a forum in which FIP members and other interested parties can expand and share their knowledge about information issues relating to pharmacy, medicines, and public health; to promote networking between various groups that provide information services; to proactively reach out to enhance the public health and the work of the profession of pharmacy through medicine information programs and related activities and initiatives. Get in touch with us via emailing HaMIS@fip.org. Read more about HaMIS Mission and Objectives here.

About Us

Founded in 1951 at FIP’s 14th General Assembly in Rome, FIP’s Health and Medicines Information Section (HaMIS) has grown to include a global network of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists. HaMIS now has members who are widely spread worldwide across all regions. You can join our network via ticking HaMIS when applying for FIP membership here.
