FIP organisational member benefits

FIP membership comprises national professional and scientific organisations ("membership organisation"), observer organisations, allied organisations, schools of pharmacy ("academic institutional membership") and individuals.

Valuable support for your organisation in many different ways

When you become a member of FIP, you have access to global pharmacy intelligence. Organisational membership is open to national constituted organisation representing pharmacists and/or pharmaceutical scientists. Definition of types of organisational members can be found in the FIP Statutes.

Member organisations have:

Member organisations have the use of:

  • Global pharmacy data (Global Pharmacy Observatory);
  • Global surveys and research reports;
  • Database of congress abstracts, with research in pharmacy practice, education, pharmaceutical sciences from all over the world;  
  • Evidence on pharmacy activities, services and policies;
  • Global pharmacy workforce intelligence: trends report.

Member organisations are:

  • Able to influence the programme content of international FIP congresses and conferences;
  • Offered discounted registration membership fees for Council delegates;
  • Invited to the President’s reception and Council dinner at the FIP congress;
  • Able to enjoy a congress VIP room (a room that can reserved to organise meetings);
  • Given opportunities to meet international colleagues and exchange experiences, views and information;
  • Able to access continuing education.

Member organisations have an official seat in the FIP Council. This means they can:

  • Vote at Council meetings;
  • Speak at Council meetings;
  • Influence official FIP documents.

Admission of organisational members are subject to the FIP Rules of Procedure BU-A1.
