I. Background
Neuropathic pain, usually resulting from nerve damage following surgery, trauma, infection or disease, can be highly debilitating and is thought to affect up to one-sixth of the world's population. Neuropathic pain is often unresponsive to existing therapies and represents a major unmet medical need. Neuronal voltage-gated N-type..
