After criticism of the Visitation Committee Pharmaceutical Education in the year 2000 (knowledge oriented curriculum; disproportionate balance of knowledge, skills and attitudes; weak internal coherence; limited orientation on the pharmacy profession) in 2001 a completely new problem-oriented pharmacy curriculum was developed at Utrecht
