Background:
The conventional therapy for the treatment of vaginal bacterial infections includes the use of chemotherapeutics or antibiotics, which are applied either orally or by vaginal application of vaginal ovules. Oral therapy with these drugs shows many disadvantages, such as considerable adverse effects and potential undesirable interactions The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
