Background information:
Obesity is a global pandemic and according to the World Health Organization it is defined as an accumulation of abnormal or excessive fat that can be harmful to health. This metabolic pathology leads to the alteration of other parameters such as HbA1c related to diabetes mellitus. There are different treatments for obesity .. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
