Research and innovation are fundamentally changing the way we treat diseases in ways that seemed inconceivable just a few years ago. Medical breakthroughs have led to therapies that treat – and even cure – chronic and life-threatening diseases for which few or no treatments previously existed. But with these new therapies comes new challenges.
