  Background

  Skin ageing is a complex biological process triggered by intracellular processes that can be induced by oxidative stress. Endophytic fungi are a rich source of natural products that can counteract the effects caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) and can be exploited for the development of anti-ageing products.
