Antiretrovirals (ARVs) have positively impacted on the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDs by reducing morbidity and mortality. ARVs should, however, be provided in a way that guarantees a sustainable supply and complements comprehensive care and support. These are important to avoid drug resistance and early treatmemt failure.
