Backgrounds
Aphthous stomatitis is known to be induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. One hundred percent of patients administered high-dose chemotherapy and 80% of patients receiving radiotherapy develop stomatitis. Furthermore, it has been reported that stomatitis is a prominent clinical problem affecting approximately 40% of patients..
