Five new organisations were admitted as members of FIP by the FIP Council in Brisbane, Australia, yesterday. These are:
- Estonia Pharmacies Association (EPAL; Ly Rootslane, member of the EPAL management board, pictured right with FIP president Paul Sinclair)
- Order of the Pharmacists of the Democratic Republic of Congo
- Pharmaceutical Society of Namibia
- SIGMA Pharm GIE
- Union of Community Pharmacy of Tunisia (SPOT)
The federation’s total membership organisation number is now 156.
Through its organisational and individual membership, FIP has presence in 155 countries and territories. It also has 190 academic institutional members in 55 nations.
