Background
: Stratified medicine (SM) refers to the separation of a patient population into more homogeneous subgroups, with the overall aim of distinguishing between the patients likely to benefit from a treatment and the patients unlikely to benefit. SM can thereby increase the average treatment effectiveness (by filtering out non-responders) and The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
