  Background and Methods:
  The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), the pharmacy regulator, following the introduction of the Pharmacy Act in 2007, commissioned a study on community pharmacy practice in Ireland. The methodology comprised of a survey of community pharmacies and a follow-up interview with supervising/ superintendent pharmacists.
