Background:
Tablet splitting is carried out in order to adjust dosages, facilitate swallowing or reduce costs. To avoid compromising the safety and effectiveness of the treatment, this may not always be recommended. It’s necessary consider factors related with the drug (pharmaceutical form, fractions uniformity, existence of notch), and with The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
