Professor Sansom graduated in pharmacy in 1962 and completed his PhD in Biophysical Chemistry at the University of Adelaide in 1972.He retired in 2000 as the Head of the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at the University of South Australia.He was Chair of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee from 2001 to 2011 having been the Chair
