Jonathan Dartnell received his pharmacy degree from the Victorian College of Pharmacy (Australia) in 1982. Initially he worked as a hospital pharmacist in Australia and England and then coordinated a pharmacy training program in Belize. After returning to Australia, he coordinated the Drug Usage Evaluation Program at the Royal Melbourne Hospital
