Workload of Pharmacists is a matter of concern for the pharmacy profession. The manpower shortage can be alleviated by managing the workload more effectively. NABP Task Force on Pharmacy Manpower Shortage highly recommended standardized unit-of-use packaging as an option for decreasing workload at the dispensing point.
