AIM: To assess colchicine prescribing and safety monitoring in patients with acute gout.
METHODS: Colchicine dosing was analyzed by chart review of 38 patients who had gout flares during hospitalization in Cheng Hsin Rehabilitation Medical Center between 1 December 2008 and 21 January 2009.
