Aims: The incidence of catheter related infections is 10-55% in patients with hemodialysis. In addition, 33-80% of these patients are Staphylococcus aureus-related. Vancomycin is effective against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). After first hemodialysis, a dosage of 500-1000mg for vancomycin is recommended in some literatures...
