A liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for determination of tiopronin in human plasma using fudosteine as internal standard (IS) was established. Plasma samples was precipitated with methanol : 10μl IS (25μg/ml) solution and 10μl (+/-)-1,4-Dithio-D-threitol(3mg/ml) and 10μl L-Cysteine..
