  National-supranational level pharmacoeconomic policy formulation process often impedes access to pharamacotherapeutics innovations undermining similarities-dissimilarities in terms of health indicators between the nations even though pharmaceutical expenditure forms significant proportion of the total health expenditure for these countries.
