In continuation of our research program dealing with the mild oxidation [1], we now report here a mild, reasonable, and chemoselective oxidizing agent, pyridinium-1-sulfonate flourochromate, C5H5NSO3H [CrO3F] (PSFC) for oxidation of alcohols and organic substrates.
