The medics in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) are mostly full-time National Servicemen, who are usually "A" level, "O" level or diploma holders serving two years of national service. The medics pack and dispense medicines in the SAF medical centres during peacetime, and out in the field during operations. This is unlike in hospital or retail
