AIMS: To investigate the Internet use among people with chronic illnesses. METHODS: A survey of 4987 adults who have access to the Internet was conducted. Analyses compared respondents in five groups: hypertension, diabetes, cancer, heart problems and deppression. We assessed: -how often respondents use the Internet for health information. -
