In some of the countries in Europe credentialing and professional recognition for pharmacists is mandatory. This reflects the constant change in technology and knowledge important for the delivery of the best healthcare possible each time. In Iceland credentialing is not mandatory as such. To work as a pharmacist, you need to apply for a licence
