Background
The language medium of most South African Universities and vocational colleges is English, yet only 9.6% of South Africans identified their home language as English in the 2012 Census1 results. Although fairly new, gamification is a recognised pedagogical instrument.Methods
An existing board game2 was adapted for use in the classroom... The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
