  • Abstract:

Clinical data indicate that anticonvulsants such as phenytoin increase a risk of developing neurodevelopmental disorders; however, the underlying mechanism has not been elucidated. Thyroxine (T4) plays crucial roles in the development of the central nervous system. It has been reported that phenytoin can induce UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT)
