A year of growth, collaboration and global advocacy is highlighted in FIP's Annual Report 2025, released today, showcasing how the federation continued to strengthen pharmacy practice, pharmacy education and pharmaceutical sciences.
The report highlights FIP's work across its ten programmes of work, delivering practical resources, digital education, global intelligence and policy leadership in areas including antimicrobial stewardship, humanitarian support, non-communicable diseases, patient safety, self-care, sustainability and vaccination.
"One of the greatest strengths of FIP is our ability to turn a shared vision into meaningful action across the globe. Every publication we produce, every policy we influence, every partnership we build and every organisation and pharmacist we support contributes to improving health outcomes around the world,” said FIP president Paul Sinclair.
The report also highlights continued progress in global collaboration through the expansion of the FIP-UNESCO UNITWIN Centres of Excellence, new strategic partnerships and the success of the 83rd FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Copenhagen, Denmark, which brought together more than 3,400 participants from 120 countries.
"The achievements presented in this report would not have been possible without the dedication of our member organisations, individual members, volunteers, officers, partners and supporters," said Mr Sinclair. "Together, we continue to strengthen pharmacy's contribution to global health and improve the lives of patients and communities worldwide."
