I. Due to the complex and unclear mechanism of neuropathic pain, therapeutic treatment remains a challenge because it is often chronic and unresponsive to conventional analgesics such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and opioids given orally or parenterally.
II. There is a clinical need to develop a topical delivery system of both .. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
