2026Pharmacy’s digital renaissance: Leading with humanity in a technology-driven world
Healthcare is evolving faster than ever. Artificial intelligence (AI) now analyses medical data at unprecedented speed, digital platforms extend care beyond physical walls, and immersive technologies are reshaping education and professional training. For pharmacy, these developments present enormous opportunities, but also critical responsibilities.
As technology becomes more embedded in pharmaceutical care, a central question emerges: how do we ensure that innovation serves people, not just processes? Lars-Åke Söderlund, chair of the FIP Technology Advisory Group, explores how Digital Humanism can guide pharmacy’s digital transformation and align innovation with FIP’s Strategic Plan for 2025–2030.

This event will mark the launch of a new FIP CPD Bite designed to strengthen pharmacists’ knowledge, skills and confidence in supporting specialised nutrition and the appropriate use of high-protein oral nutritional supplements in cancer care.
