  Background

  The Hospital Pharmacy of a public hospital in Uruguay has carried out a project on improving the access to prescribed medicines for chronic diseases. Uruguay is a country in South America, with a population of 3.407.000 people, where a universal health care system has been implemented. The public subsector is 50%.
