Strategies to improve enrolment in schools of pharmacy are presented in a new FIP handbook launched today, developed for FIP’s academic institutional membership (AIM). “The [COVID] pandemic highlighted the requirement for current and future pharmacy education to be improved to strengthen the pharmacy profession and improve resilience, hence enrolment strategies have become more critical to pharmacy institutions,” said AIM chair Pierre Moreau. The handbook contains over 30 examples of activities undertaken by AIM institutions to improve enrolment and access is an AIM benefit. Pharmacy academic leaders whose institution is not yet a member of FIP AIM can contact Dr Ozge Ozer by emailing aim@fip.org.
