Educating a contemporary hospital pharmacy workforce and continuing their professional competence in developing countries
A Direct Application of the FIP Basel Statements on Human Resources, Training and Development & Aligned with FIP Development Goals.
Both the FIP Development Goals and the Hospital Pharmacy Section Basel Statements list the competency of the pharmacy workforce as important. In a listing of priority goals from the DG and the BS, FIP members identify competency goals as a top priority. The HPS Vice Presidents also list competency as a high priority for advancing hospital pharmacy practice. The webinar will address curricula and ongoing continuing education to provide students and practitioners with the necessary knowledge and skills for contemporary hospital pharmacy services.
