    BACKGROUND: The concept of advanced practice for pharmacists is relatively new in Australia however is closely aligned to the UK model. The challenge for education providers is in balancing the limited number of pharmacists enrolled in clinical postgraduate education while supporting the development of educational offerings in all clinical areas
