  • Abstract:

    I. Background

    Many maternal and child health related deaths in Pacific Island Countries (PICs) may be prevented with readily available medicines provided by suitably trained health personnel. A new approach to education is needed.
    II. Aims

    This paper presents the workplace impact of competency based education for pharmacy personnel in PICs.
