Aim of this study was evaluation of in vitro release of insulin from biologically active fibers and films of chitosan.
Biologically active fibers and films made from chitosan are biocompatible and non-toxic, also biodegradable, which promote their use as drug carriers.
Biologically active chitosan polymers can be easily shaped in fibers,.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
