Norwegian community pharmacies have changed profoundly over the last years. The new Pharmacy Act of 2001 opened for free ownership and free establishment of pharmacies, but with regulations ensuring professional quality and safety. The Act also opened for vertical integration and the wholesalers bought existing pharmacies from the professional.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
