Background
Healthcare workers must ensure that patients comprehend information provided to them. One suggested method to improve adherence to medication, is the addition of pictograms.Methods
Literature from April 2009 to March 2018 was searched in PubMed, PMC and Embase using keywords: “Pictogram”, “Pictograph”, “Pictorial”, “Infographics”, “Images”.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
