Background
Developed countries are becoming more vulnerable to the health impacts of disasters as a consequence of increases in the ageing population and prevalence of chronic disease. Chronic disease management is not typically the primary focus of first responders and emergency personnel in disasters.1 Pharmacists are beginning to undertake roles ..
