The health of Indigenous Australians remains very poor. One of the contributing factors is poor medication compliance within Aboriginal populations. Aboriginal Health Workers have reported frequent inappropriate use of medications due to limited understanding, literacy and information. Pharmacists are well positioned to provide AHWs.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
