    Background

Poultices (topical NSAIDs) have been prescribed frequently for relief of pain in musculoskeletal conditions in Japan. The restriction of the number of poultices able to be prescribed for one prescription was started from 1st April 2016.

    Purpose

We intended to evaluate the influences of the restriction from a pharmacoeconomic point of view.
