  Background

  Diabetes care indicators, even for the Regional Hospital, are lagging behind when compared to benchmark clinics. Analysis indicates that the reasons for this situation include the following: too many manual tasks, poor medical procedures protocol, poorly placed equipment, and delays acquiring test data (glycosylated hemoglobin, A1C).
