  • Abstract:

    Background

    Screening for Clostridium difficile (CDI) is recommended in the presence of diarrhoea and following recent or current antibiotic treatment.

    Purpose

    To propose a framework for Clostridium difficile culturing and antibiotic sensitivity testing with standardization of this procedure on the clinical setting, and to identify risk factors for C.
