  • Abstract:

    Background

    Pulmonary mucormycosis is a rare opportunistic angioinvasive fungal infection. It is the second common presentation and is known for its aggressive clinical course with high mortality.

    Purpose

    We report the case of a patient with a definite histological diagnosis of pulmonary mucormycosis.
