  • Abstract:

    Methods

    HepG2C8 cells were treated for a total 5 days duration in the presence 1.25 μM cryptotanshinone or DMSO vehicle in medium with 1% FBS. The cells were harvested and continued procedures for analyses to see the alterations in the gene expressions.

    Results

    We found that cryptotanshinone activated Nrf2 and increased the expression of Nrf2
