As per WHO, the shortage of worldwide health professionals is growing: in 2013 it was 7.2 million and will be 12.9 million by 2035. In India, there are over 1 million pharmacists of which over 75% work in community and hospital pharmacies. To utilize pharmacists’ workforce better in public health, it is important to focus on pharmacy..
