  Background

  Pharmacist intervention model in distant area is an important issue in health inequality. Lisan is a mountain village isolated in the central Taiwan. It would take at least three hours to the nearest hospital. About three thousand people live in Li-san area and the only health facility is the Lisan Local Health Center (LLHC).
