    Background

    Recent antibiotic use is a predisposing factor for development of resistant pathogens. Despite well recognition, unnecessary antibiotic prescribing remains common. Antibiotic stewardship interventions targeting rational antibiotic prescribing are needed in ambulatory care setting, which is identical to acute care setting.
