The lack of pharmacists‘ role in separation of dispensing from prescription leads to the phenomenon of irrational drug use in Taiwan. According to the data of National Health Insurance, Taiwanese have 14 physician’s visit per year in average, which is 2.7 times more than Americans. Every prescription includes 3.9 items of medicine, which is 2.6.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
